Bukittinggi Municipal Government Optimistic City Will Do Best in National Examinations in West Sumatra

The Bukittinggi Municipal Government is optimistic that the city will retain its title as the best performing local government in the National Examinations in West Sumatra at the high school level.

Ellia Makmur, the head of the Municipal Education, Youth and Sports Agency, said that a total of 6,359 students would sit the National Examinations in Bti1 at the junior high school and high school levels. Of these, 2,582 were studying at the junior high school level, 2,369 at the state and private high school level (including Islamic schools), and 1,408 at the state and private vocational high school level.

She said that National Examination` supervision system this year would be similar to the system employed in 2012, that is, a basic crosschecking system.
