School for indigenous jungle dwellers is different from school in the formal education system. Through highly contextual methods, teachers impart knowledge based on local culture and traditions. They can only maintain the interest of their students when they live in the jungle on a daily basis, and live in accordance with local rules and norms.

Uniquely, it is the teacher that comes to the students in the jungle. They sleep in the forest for two weeks with their students, returning to town afterwards. After a week in town, they then return to the jungle.
