KPK Wants Curriculum Supervision

The Anticorruption Commission (KPK) has asked for supervision of the 2013 curriculum, which is funded to the tune of Rp 2.49 trillion, from Rp 684 billion previously. According to the “Coalition Against the Curriculum”, the money is vulnerable to abuse.

Febri Hendri, from ICW, members of the coalition objected to the 2013 curriculum, saying that they were worried that the increase in funding was focused on “projects”. The reasons was that of the budget of 2.49 trillion, more than half, i.e., Rp 1.3 trillion, was allocated for the procurement of books.
