Two elementary schools, SDN 1 and SDN 2 Tatura, on Jalan Gusi Ngurah Rai, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, have been forcibly closed by people claiming to be the rightful heirs to the lands on which they are located. Their actions have resulted in the education of hundreds of students being disrupted. Some of the students have been forced to return home. The respective school authorities only became of the trouble when they were contacted by their security guards at the schools.

Ahmad, spokesman for the claimants of the land, demanded fair compensation from the local government.
