Coordinating Minister of People’s Welfare, Agung Laksono, stated that the abundant potential of natural resources in Central Kalimantan are incongruent with the availability of top quality local human resources, causing numerous involvement of expatriates while the locals have to stay on the side line. Therefore he requested the provincial authority to open vocational schools on mining and plantation, which construction works to be started in this year to enable the schools to be fully operated in the next year.
