SBMPTN 2013 was launched in Jakarta last night and participated by 62 state universities in Indonesia, compared to 61 in 2012, with IAIN Walisongo as the new participant in the 2013 process. The online registration for the process will start on May 13th 8 am – June 7th 10 pm, through Bank Mandiri online payment, and assisted by PT Telkom to overcome the limited internet access. The written test will be done on June 18th – 19, 2013, to be followed by skills test on June 20th – 21st, 2013. Result will be announced on July 12th, 2013. This year test participants can select either one from 3 groups in relevant major study from science and technology, social and humanity, and combination of the first two. Students coming from vulnerable family can apply to join Bidik Misi, a program from Minister of Education and Culture for such students with high potential, providing that the applicants have successfully accepted in SBMPTN.
