A number of state universities (PTN) make sure that they will comply with the single tuition (UKT) plafond that is now being simulated by the government. Although they are still waiting for the circular letter which is promised to be issued this week, in fact they have fixed UKT in various amounts.
Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), for example, will apply UKT from zero to Rp10 million for science and engineering departments. That applies to all regular tracks of entry, including National Selection for Entry to State Universities (SNMPTN) for 2,000 seats, written selection or Joint Selection for Entry to State Universities (SBMPTN) and independent exam (UM) for 1,500 seats.
