Demand for new admission this year at the Yogyakarta-based state-owned Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has been strong. UGM has so far received 30,042 applications submitted through the State University National Entrance Selection (SNMPTN) program. The competition will be tough because the university offers 3,318 seats only.
