Parents of a 9th grade student at Dwiguna junior high school in Depok have filed a complaint to the school, accusing four of the school’s teachers of beating their son for wearing flip-flops to school while taking a national exam try-out. The school has denied the allegations, saying that the boy was only summoned and reprimanded by the teachers, not beaten.
