Minister of Education and Culture Mohammad Nuh has suggested that the State University National Entrance Selection’s (SNMPTN) organizing committee sanction he 20 high schools that manipulated their students’ grades by disclosing the schools’ identity. The name and shame sanction is needed to create a deterrent effect for dishonest practice among schools and students, he said. The ministry’s Director General of Secondary Education, Hamid Muhammad, said all schools have already been warned to ensure all data submitted for the SNMPTN were true and correct.
