The organizing committee of the 2013 State University National Entrance Test (SNMPTN) has put 20 senior secondary schools (SMA/SMK) on a blacklist providing manipulated grades of their students in the SNMPTN registration database (PDSS). Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Djoko Santoso, is concerned that more schools may be tempted to take advantage of the free, no-restriction, no-testing selection process to ensure their students’ successful admission by manipulating the grades.
