ITB Admission Intake Up by 100 Seats

Kompas.com The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has increased its admission intake through the State University National Entrance Test (SNMPTN) this year by 100 seats. The increase is a result of the opening of several new courses.

31 Januari 2012, Kompas.com Ketua Umum Panitia Pelaksana SNMPTN ITB, Akhmaloka mengtakan, Institu Teknologi Bandung (ITB) akan menambah kuota mahasiswa pada Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) 2012 sebanyak 100 mahasiswa. Akhmaloka menjelaskan, penambahan kuota tersebut berasal dari dibukanya program studi (Prodi) baru di ITB.

31 Januari 2012, Jakarta Globe pA6 Sekitar 50 persen dari siswa SD Holtekamp di Papua masih buta huruf. Menurut Kepala Sekolah Nella Manaku, di kelas  empat dan lima, masih ditemukan siswa yang tidak bisa membaca dan menulis.  Tingginya angka buta huruf tersebut menurut Nella adalah karena kurangnya guru pada sekolah tersebut.
