The Yogyakarta-based Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has entered into a research partnership agreement with two Norwegian universities, Agder University and Oslo University. The five-year agreement will focus on joint research projects on issues relating to power, welfare and democracy. UGM has since 1992 been working with the Norway government on various student programs.
